We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer with 3–5 years of relevant experience to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensuring works are carried out on site in accordance with the approved shop drawings and approved coordination layouts.
- Daily allocation of site supervisors and manpower as per bi-weekly plans and directions from the Project Engineer in compliance with the overall project program of works.
- Ensuring sufficiency of materials on site for at least two full weeks to avoid having idle manpower.
- Preparation of material requisitions in accordance with approved shop drawings and material technical submittals.
- Aiding HSE officers in the preparation of Method Statements and implementing safe working practices on site.
- Adhering to Quality Control Policies and ensuring all received materials and works done on site are inspected by the Consultant and approved.
- Submission of daily reports including allocation of resources, daily targets and actual achievements.
- Ensuring value for money by increasing workers productivity and eliminating materials waste.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience as a site engineer.
- Proven track record of delivering large, complex MEP projects on time and within budget.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Holding a valid UAE driver's license.
